‘Love Knows No Gender’ Photo Exhibit Opens in Germany

By Stephen Fuchs on

When German photographer Sven Hoppmann posted a series of photos showing people holding LGBT-friendly messages, the response was overwhelming with a mix of negative and positive reactions. Ultimately the positive won out and as a result, Hoppmann has just opened the first LGBT-focused photo exhibit in the small German town of Cuxhaven.

Liebe kennt kein Geschlecht (Love Knows No Gender) is an extension of Hoppmann’s earlier work and features ordinary people from all walks of life holding up signs with messages against homophobia.

The exhibit opened on Tuesday, September 1st and will run through September 18th at the Cuxhaven Town Hall.
